She Dances

Have you ever heard something that literally shakes you to the core? Saturday I listened to a friend who shared some information that literally broke my heart. She talked about an organization she was involved with called "She Dances." It's a Safe Home in Honduras that literally rescues young girls who have been trafficked and sexually exploited. Did you know that there are an estimated 1.2 million young girls trafficked every year, and 50% of them are children. Sex trafficking is a situation in which girls, as young as 11, are manipulated, kidnapped, or even sold by their family into a world of sexual slavery. These young girls are put into brothels or homes, abused physically, emotionally, and sexually, are undernourished, and become addicted to drugs by force. After hearing my friend's passion for this organization, I knew that I had to help. Please spend a few minutes to watch this video below and please, I urge you to pass it on to friends and help if you are able. What better time than Christmas to act in Love.
